Guam Diamond Engagement Ring.
By Samina Aamir.
My fiance and I found my engagement ring at Tiffany's here in Guam and I have to say they gave us the best customer service and I couldn't be happier with my ring. We went to the other jewelry stores on island and they were so pushy that we couldn't stand being in the store longer than 5 minutes, and i didnt like anything i saw. But once we walked into Tiffany's everything was taken care of for us without hovering over us while we browsed and discussed our options. Of course the ring that first caught my eye was WAY out of our price range so I found a few others that peeked my interest. But I didn't have to settle on another
option because the lovely Liza Cruz went searching for my first choice to match our budget. She found exactly what I wanted in New York and had it shipped to us within a week. We were worried about timing because we were both leaving island within the month and we still needed it to be sized. Unfortunately, once we received it we had to ship it back to New York to get sized but again no worries for us another sales associate jasmine had it rushed and I am happily wearing it as I write this review with a few days to spare before I leave:-) I have to admit ring shopping had me filled with anxiety and i didnt know what i wanted but once I walked into Tiffany's i was hooked and so was my fiance who definately had doubts himself. they really know what they are doing and they allow their beautiful jewelry do the talking. We can't stop looking at my ring without being impressed its perfect! And we thank t
Anyway, Tiffanys is the same everywhere in the world. Beautiful jewelry, very good service, expensive prices i.e. I bought a Tiffany's ring when I proposed, it was beautiful, however the price I paid for it was probably 20-30% more than what it would have cost for something similar from bluenile.
But again when you're buying Tiffanys, it's not just the jewelry. You're buying the brand, and that little blue box and bag that makes girls go crazy. And in some cases that extra wow factor is worth it.
For Valentines Day I bought my girl one of those Key necklaces here, the sales person was very friendly and has kept in touch even after. The jewelry again was expensive for what it was, but it is beautiful and my fiancee loves it. So I can't complain.
If you can afford it, i'd definitely shop at Tiffanys on Guam over any of the smaller jewelry shops on island. Tiffanys will always be expensive, but you know you're always getting quality. The other places on island may have better pricing, but I just feel like you will have to do a lot more research before showing up to make sure you don't get ripped off.

I really love the style where there's a big diamond in the middle and then a halo of little diamonds surrounding it and going down the band. The first two pictures on this post are exactly the kind that I would want! My boyfriend and I are getting pretty serious and I have been hinting at the style I'd want. According to my best friend, he's been looking! I can't wait! http://ringsutah.com/design/
